Our Story

A Journey of Passion, Travel, and Purpose.

ILISAH was born from a shared love of travel and a desire to elevate the souvenir experience in luxury hospitality. Founded just six months ago by Brian and Lisa, a couple who explored the world together, they noticed a gap. hotels and resorts offered breathtaking experiences, but their gifting lacked the same level of thoughtfulness and elegance.

As passionate travelers, they wanted more than generic trinkets; they envisioned luxury keepsakes that told a meaningful story, captured the essence of a place, and left a lasting impression. Their idea? Beautiful, embroidered home goods that reflect Africa’s rich culture and wildlife while empowering local artisans.

With this vision, Brian and Lisa established a small workshop in Nanyuki, starting with just two skilled women tailors. Every product is designed to blend artistry with purpose crafted with care, rooted in sustainability, and made to honor the earth.

Today, ILISAH is on a mission to redefine souvenir gifting for luxury lodges, boutique hotels, and discerning travelers who seek keepsakes with deeper meaning; beauty with purpose, elegance with impact.

Because a journey should be remembered not just in photos, but in the treasures we bring home.
