At ILISAH, we believe sustainability isn’t a marketing line, it’s a responsibility. As makers, every choice we make has a ripple effect on the environment, on our artisans, and on future generations.

We design for the long term. Our products are made with durable, 100% cotton, embroidered with care, and meant to live well beyond a single season. They’re timeless enough to pass down, practical enough to reuse, and special enough to treasure.

Our goal is to create less waste, not more. That means:

• Designing products people actually want to keep

• Using local materials whenever possible

• Packaging plastic-free

• Producing in small, intentional batches to avoid excess

But sustainability is more than materials, it’s also how we treat people. We believe true sustainability is social as much as it is environmental. That’s why we center fair wages, safe workspaces, and long-term employment for women in our community.

We don’t claim to be perfect but we’re present, we’re learning, and we’re constantly improving.
